NOT BY BREAD ALONE
Matthew 4:2-4
2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the
tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become
bread.”
4 But He answered and said, “ It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
that proceeds from the mouth of God. ’”
ONLY BELIEVE
Luke 8:49-54
49 While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to
him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.”
50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “ Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will
be made well.”
51 When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John,
and the father and mother of the girl.
52 Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “ Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.”
53 And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.
54 But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “ Little girl, arise.”
BE WILLING TO FOLLOW KINGDOM INSTRUCTIONS
Luke 5:4-6 (NKJV Strong's)
4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your
nets for a catch."
5 But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing;
nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." 6 And when they had done this, they caught a
great number of fish, and their net was breaking.
PRACTICING THE BASICS OF STAYING VICTORIOUS
PROCLAIM WHAT YOU BELIEVE
2 Corinthians 4:13
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we
also believe and therefore speak,
KEEP SAYING WHAT YOU BELIEVE NOT WHAT YOU SEE AROUND YOU!
Ecclesiastes 11:4-6
4 He who observes the wind will not sow,
And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
6 In the morning sow your seed,
And in the evening do not withhold your hand;
For you do not know which will prosper,
Either this or that,
Or whether both alike will be good.
BE SPIRITUALLY SMART
Colossians 1:9-11 NKJV
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that
you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering
with joy;
Colossians 1:9 Amp
9 For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [ special]
request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will
in all spiritual wisdom [ in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in
understanding and discernment of spiritual things—
LOOK AT EVERY MOUNTAIN FROM GOD’S PERSPECTIVE, NOT YOURS
Zechariah 4:5-7
5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?”
And I said, “No, my lord.”
6 So he answered and said to me:
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.
7 ‘Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’”
