What is Africa Care Mission?
Africa Care Mission is a social responsibility division of Grace Mission Church. It was established in April 2011 and is registered with Department of Social Development as 089-204-NPO.
Africa Care Mission was born out of the need to be the hands and feet of Jesus, in the community. This is an assignment given to us according to Deut 15:11
“For the poor will not cease to be among you in the land, therefore I am commanding you saying, You shall willingly open your hand to your brother, to your needy and to your poor that are in your land”
Through ACM we can make tangible difference to the community’s livelihood and wellbeing.
The main objectives of ACM are to provide
- Community based socio-economic and spiritual services programmes aimed at addressing poverty and hunger amongst the poor and vulnerable, provide disaster relief (Food Parcels)
- Health Care and Support i.e. HIV/Aids and home Community Based care,
- Youth empowerment programmes such as pre-marital counselling and employment linkages, marriage counselling and
- spiritual guidance and family support.
To date, we have been able to provide essential food parcels to the less privileged and vulnerable.
